PHY6 Chassis Table MK1
grabcad
This 12x4x2.5-foot chassis table was engineered for building a tube frame chassis on a project car. It's crafted from readily available I-beams, which can be stick or MIG welded together. A multi-part YouTube playlist showcases the design and construction process. The 3-point method used is inspired by Eastwood Chassis Table videos. The table itself is coated in Magick Holland Blue paint from Tractor Supply, with added hardener for durability. For easy mobility, swivel casters from eBay were attached to the middle section, while adjustable feet on the ends ensure stability and levelness. Starrett adhesive metal measuring tapes are applied to facilitate alignment and measurement of the car chassis and fixtures. Additional plates have been installed to support wheel and tire mock-ups.
