This is a splash guard with the purpose to keep the resin from splashing out of the resin vat and onto the cover. There is a rectangular opening in the front to view the print to make sure the print is visible while printing. The front opening is designed to use a 4x6" piece of glass or plexiglass with a thickness of 1mm. I am using a 4x6" replacement plexiglass for picture frame that is 1mm thick I bought online. *Updated to REV A to make full clearance for the arm holding the build plate when it is in the full lowered position
