This adapter allows you to securely fasten an iPhone 6 to a tripod, making it easier to capture stunning 360-degree panoramas/photospheres using apps like Google Streetview. Once captured, these panoramic views can be easily shared on platforms such as Facebook. By utilizing this mount, the iPhone 6's camera remains in the same position whether tilted or panned using the tripod, minimizing distortion/discontinuities in the resulting 360-degree panorama. Print Settings: Rafts: No Resolution: 0.3mm layer height Infill: - Sides: 50% or higher - Everything else: 20% Notes: The sides require supports for printing, while everything else can be printed without them. Post-Printing Instructions: Acquire some 1/4-20 hex nuts that fit your tripod. Print two sides, one base, one plug, and one phone holder. For a snug phone fit, use "Phone Holder 4mm Foam," which leaves space for foam (e.g., weatherstripping) on both phone sides. Alternatively, print "Phone Holder No Foam" if you don't have foam. Assemble the mount as shown below, with the gray block representing your tripod. Insert the sides into the phone holder's holes and superglue them to the base. Securely attach the hex nut and plug to the base using superglue. Once the glue dries, attach the mount to a tripod and carefully insert the iPhone 6 upside down into the mount. This orientation ensures the camera remains in the same position as the phone is tilted or panned.
