I'm testing optimized scan data. Check the compare high rez to optimized model file for more details. This setup reduces 9k polygons using Instant Meshes, then bakes out AO, normal, and xNormals maps. All maps are 4k in resolution, leading to still pretty long load times. I plan to start reducing all my scanned models this way from now on with a decent workflow in place.
