I crafted a versatile 80mm to 120mm fan adapter specifically for the Photon S, aiming to boost direct cooling through increased airflow and cleverly guided air flow via the fins. This innovative design capitalizes on the enhanced cooling capabilities of a 120mm fan, while also introducing a duct that redirects case air directly out the back. Although I have not yet tested the latest iteration of this duct, it has been engineered with additional screw clearance cutouts for smoother installation. To accommodate the added thickness of the back plate for the 60mm fan, I made some intentional adjustments. If you decide to utilize the duct, be prepared to reorient the mainboard, as its normal configuration will no longer be feasible. For optimal working conditions, I recommend removing the side panels to create more space. Additionally, consider adding exhaust holes to the printer's sides to facilitate the escape of hot air, given that the rear vent is now dedicated to main exhaust purposes.
