Photon S cooling upgrade
thingiverse
My photon S was running a little hot wich created at some point little bugs and big failed prints. Problem solved with some quick fixes: - Cutting out the grills as they are only an obstruction to the air flow in this case: the Photons S uses a hot air EXTRACTION instead of a pulsed air cooling system. - Adding a small fan sucking cool outside air inside the frame of the printer. This fan can be paralleled with the big extractor fan. - Making the printer stand higher above ground so the hot extracted air has more room to go and will not heat the entire bottom of the printer (including the motherboard...). The small fan adapter is simply hot glued to the chassis of the printer. Hope it can be of some help for some of you. Enjoy!
