This allows you to install a 12v electric heater. Drill a hole for the power and temp sensor on one side, either left or right. It's up to you where you decide to place it. Print this design on FDM. You could make it slightly smaller to print on a Photon, but then the heater wouldn't sit securely inside it. Instead, it would sit on top of it, which is less ideal. No supports are needed when printing this if you do it with the correct side facing up. There's another version included that fits into the hole left when you remove the counter-productive fan/charcoal filter. This one can also accept a round or rectangular 12v hour meter that you can wire to the main LED cooling fan, which only runs when printing. This will display total printing hours, helping you track LCD panel life or lube intervals for the threaded rod. Note: Get a temp controller that lets you set the threshold. The less expensive ones don't work as they are factory-set to a setting that makes them overheat and stick on. https://amzn.to/2Tosjso https://amzn.to/2S2u5TE Or one like this (cheaper but needs a printed box and wiring). https://amzn.to/2Tsry1v With an enclosure like this: Heater that I found best: https://amzn.to/2Tto2nC You'll also need a 12v power supply for the heater. I used what I had lying around, and the heater draws ~11 amps at 12v. https://amzn.to/2Bhuw1N Hour meters that should work: https://amzn.to/2Sm4kgj https://amzn.to/2WBR4TT https://amzn.to/2G5gVyS https://amzn.to/2TyAlyQ
