I designed my own model based on the ANYCUBIC PHOTON Easy Leveler by wundel, thing:3096818, but remade it in OpenScad. The new design uses captive M3 nuts for the clamps and features cone-tipped grubs screwed into them. I enlarged countersunk holes to achieve a flush finish. I tested my creation with nylon, PETG, and resin prints (all solid). Everything seemed perfect at first. However, I'm not a fan of the Zero==Home setup because it aggressively hits the resin, so I levelled as usual and crossed my fingers that the design would be more robust than the ball clamp. That's what I call it, right? When tightening the side bolts, I noticed they can slightly displace the plate bolts, which seems like a widespread issue with this design. To address this, I created a new version - V2 STL - featuring slots to drop in small metal push-plates. This way, the side screws will push against them instead of twisting the whole thing. I'm using those little electrical spade connectors to secure it all in place.
