Use steel rod to mount the wheels in the carriage I installed the track mounts on the ceiling and secured the PVC pipe to the mounts with self-tapping screws. The entire project is a work in progress. The Track Mount XL and Carriage XL are designed to be used together, with the same wheels but a wider profile and slightly beefier construction. I've created and successfully tested the system for mounting studio lighting. However, I have not thoroughly tested its capacity, and users should exercise caution when employing my design. With this setup, I was able to hang a 5lb light with softbox using three track mounts and two 8' pieces of PVC pipe, achieving great results.
