Originally designed to work with wide angle lenses with a permanent lens hood, but also: - eliminates the need for sevreral adapter rings - in addition to lenses, it can fit on lighting elements - accepts multiple materials that can be manipulated (shaped/formed/cutout) as needed or desired Parts Necessary: Adapter ring set (download from MakerBot ThingiVerse here, then 3d print at your local library for free :) 8mm diameter x 3mm (or 2mm) height round magnets Functional adhesive for magnets (used UV cure resin) Household rubberbands - some illustrative photos are of past versions, but the concept is the same. - Assembly video instructions can be found on YouTube youtube.com/watch?v=KYyN8CBw-Ns
