<p><i>Tips are appreciated and go towards creating new designs</i></p><p>I have a couple of light stands wich come with typical nylon carry bags, and these work perfectly fine. Some of my light stands have a short piece of thread at the top - either 1/4''-20 oder 3/8''-16 UNC - to mount various other gear to. That is nice, but those damn threads keep poking holes into my nice carry bags!</p><p>Luckily some of my light stands have these little threaded plastic protector cups which screw on to those threads, covering them and spreading the pressure thus preventing my bags from being poked through. So I figured I'd copy this idea and print a couple of these to save whatever bags don't have holes yet.</p><p>I made versions for 1/4''-20 oder 3/8''-16 UNC threads for your (and my) convenience.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Print Notes:</strong></p><p>Printing is super easy, no need for rafts, brims, support or the like. Just place &amp; print.<br>I do recommend 0.1mm layer height (or better) as those things come with threads and you want as good of a resolution as you can get.</p><p>After printing I recommend running these over fitting bolts once or twice to settle the threads properly. If you have a tap you might want to tap them for thread cleanup instead. After that they should work perfectly fine.</p>
