This stand offers a curved, seamless backdrop for photographing small to medium-sized objects. It accommodates paper thicknesses ranging from 20 lb copier paper to lightweight cardboard or craft paper. Incorporating colored or patterned papers enhances contrast and interest. Mounted on heavy cardboard or any rigid sheet, it can be adjusted for optimal lighting and camera angles. The file "Paper-Sweep-complete.stl" contains all necessary parts, optimized for a 175mm x 175mm bed. For smaller printers, separate parts are available for download. Users may encounter issues with pins printing too small; in such cases, use 3/16" or M5 bolts and nuts. To use, insert paper between the pivot and stand, then secure the platen under the hook on the stand. Additional weights can be added using flat plates behind the curves. For simplified setup and increased stability, attach stands to a stiff cardboard or foam-core board.
