The designer of Slepcat has crafted curves that are indeed an excellent concept, but unfortunately, heavier paper than those intended slots pose significant problems. The very fact that the paper escapes from the slots with relative ease is also a concern I had raised initially. Furthermore, to enhance the overall design's integrity, I was eager for the sweep to become self-sufficient with enhanced stability in place. The modified stand presented here may lack the refined elegance of the original, but it successfully holds thin papers in place while allowing thicker sheets as well. Moreover, a support from the rear post is able to elevate the background, thus providing greater structural integrity, whereas an adjustable weight can be securely placed behind the sweep, thereby significantly augmenting its stability.
