Photogrammetry Rock Pile Low-poly 3D model
cgtrader
This rock pile is entirely realistic, captured on camera at high noon. The textures used are 8k-resolution and can be effortlessly scaled down to meet any demand you might have. To ensure an incredibly detailed visual experience, five distinct levels of display or (LODs) have been implemented within the model. Included are images showing the rocks running in real time within Unreal Engine 4, proving its compatibility. Successful tests also confirmed that Unity 5 and CryEngine 5 handle it seamlessly even when multiple instances of the object are used. It's perfectly suited for use in Virtual Reality (VR) as well as Augmented Reality (AR). 146,7222 high-poly vertices were meticulously designed into this rock pile model, while a mere 110,854 low-poly vertices achieved an excellent balance between quality and performance. By further subdividing the mesh, five levels of display have been successfully implemented, with vertex counts at: 61,181 (LOD1), 30,765 (LOD2), 15,513 (LOD3), 3,110 (LOD4) and just 206 vertices in LOD5.
