A Photoetch Bending Tool for Smoothly Shaping Photoetch Parts with Precision. To Assemble the Tool: Gather the necessary components: Top and Bottom Parts, Two M4 Bolts, and Two M4 Wingnuts or Regular Nuts. Begin by inserting the two M4 bolts into the bottom half of the tool. Then, invert the tool to prepare for assembly. Next, place the top half of the tool onto the bottom half, ensuring that the bolt holes align perfectly. Secure the parts together by tightening the nuts in place. Refer to the accompanying pictures for visual guidance and clarification. If the bolts do not fit snugly into the countersunk hole, take the part to a hardware store and perform a test fit with various bolts until finding one that fits securely. Additional Details: The bottom half of the tool features 20% infill, while the top half boasts 70% infill. Both parts have been designed with a brim for added stability. The tool was crafted from PLA, but feel free to experiment with stronger materials or even lasercut it if you possess the necessary skills and equipment. Unfortunately, my local hardware store did not carry wingnuts, so I improvised by creating custom wingnuts using polymorph around normal nuts. DesignSpark Mechanical was used as the design platform for this project.
