Although my original design by HPaul is already great, I have taken it a step further. I have created two basic versions of the stand - one left and one right - with deep channels that enable a lot more possibilities. Additionally, as I often use foamboard for other projects, I've incorporated features into the stands to allow them to easily slide onto 5mm thick foamboard, but they can be used on anything else that is 5mm thick. For background purposes, I utilize foam sheet, which is soft enough to slip in without creating any tension. UPDATE1: To add an extra layer of stability for larger backgrounds, I've created a center support with an integrated foamboard clip that can be positioned anywhere between the two end stops. This design ensures all the supports align perfectly with each other and with the background. UPDATE2: In response to user feedback, I've created a smaller version that specifically holds A4 sheet (or thin card) for a seamless background experience. This version requires just two files - A4 left and A4 right. Due to their design, no additional support or raft is needed when printing with this set. Print Settings: Rafts: Any setting works. Supports: None Resolution: Normal resolution is the best choice here. Infill: 15% should provide enough structure.
