This mesh was crafted to mimic the appearance of water splashing against a surface, with droplets strategically placed at various spots to create a realistic effect. In fluids like water, droplets dominate due to their inherent tendency to form spherical shapes under surface tension, which overpowers viscosity's ability to maintain complex forms. As a result, this model is remarkably accurate and can be used as a versatile fluid mesh for any application. Its edges are designed to allow for the creation of visually appealing, non-transparent materials such as paint. This fluid-like mesh was set up in Realflow 2013 and refined using the Frost plug-in for 3ds max. The resulting mesh has been transformed into three distinct levels of detail: high (630k faces), medium (188k faces), and low (~31k faces). A .max file is included, which allows users to adjust the level of detail by modifying vertex count or percentage using the "ProOptimizer" mode. Other file formats, including .c4d, .dae, .FBX, and .obj, have three levels of detail pre-generated. However, for those who want to generate their own mesh from scratch, an original .bin file from Realflow is provided, which contains approximately 76k particles and weighs in at around 8 MB. Please note that this item includes only a single splash effect with varying levels of detail. All preview images are based on a single mesh, with differing materials and resolutions. Keep in mind that no materials, light setup, studio, or animation is included with this item.
