Photo Frame 4x6 Minimalist (v1)
thingiverse
This is a 4x6 picture frame I designed for my girlfriend. I printed each part individually, ensuring they fit together seamlessly. Currently, the push parts function with some minor post-processing (using a box cutter to trim them slightly). Originally, I planned to include a slit at the top for inserting photos, but this feature was omitted in the revised design. To save on filament and time, I substituted cardboard for the backplate; print at your own risk, as it may require slight sanding to fit snugly. The heart, decorative heart, and flower are separate components that can be arranged and scaled to suit individual preferences before printing (I reduced the flower's size by 75% in both directions, scaled the decorative heart 200% in all three dimensions, and left the stands unchanged). I've included an example scene showcasing my preferred color scheme, minus the wood texture. Future updates will likely include: 1. A functional slit for inserting photos 2. A slit at the bottom of the frame to accommodate the backplate 3. A subtle ledge along the sides to secure the photo in place I'd like to create a SCAD file allowing users to customize the frame's size and other features. Feel free to comment or ask questions!
