The UM66 IC serves as a sound generator, specifically designed for use in doorbells, telephones, and toys. As a CMOS LSI device, it is pre-programmed to produce specific frequencies upon powering; the melody generator resets, commencing playback from the initial note. In my project, I integrated a UM66 chip with a coin cell battery, a momentary push button, and a small speaker. Additionally, I utilized a phonohorn to amplify the music output.
