Phone tripod mount
thingiverse
I designed a stand mount for my smartphone after being inspired by the growth of a planted avocado pit, and it was enjoyable watching it develop. Unfortunately, as you can see from the picture, it couldn't grow up before I finished the project. Print Settings Printer: Kossel Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 30 How I Designed This At first, there were no completed projects found on Thingiverse, but I was unable to find one that suited me. I decided to design something myself. The main goal of the project was to document the growth of my avocado pits, but it can also be used to observe changes in weather and other phenomena that slowly change over time. Preparation To complete this project, you need to print four essential elements, prepare seven screws approximately 10mm long, a spring (selected experimentally), and one screw for the spring about 6mm long. In the photo, you can see all the necessary components and tools. Results Once the ready mount is assembled, it should be screwed onto a tripod photo stand, placed on the object, and recording started in your favorite app. After several hours or days of shooting, a whole can be created into an interesting video showing the changes. I believe that every biology teacher will appreciate being able to use a smartphone for this purpose.
