This phone holder securely cradles your phone with a thickness of up to 11 mm, both when placed vertically and horizontally. I opted for a flexible material (PrimaSelect Flex) in my print, which imparts a slightly rubbery texture to the stand, making it difficult for the phone to slide around within its casing. Regular PLA can also be used with equally impressive results. The design is tailored specifically for Samsung Galaxy J5 and S5 models with PVC sleeves, but will generally accommodate most standard smartphones. In terms of charging, I've found that there's no provision for a charger cable when using the stand in vertical orientation; however, positioning your phone horizontally while it charges poses no issues.
