Phone stand - Phone holder
thingiverse
My aim was to design a smartphone stand that could adjust in inclination and be as compact as possible when folded. To achieve this, I opted for metal hinges about one millimeter in diameter, sourced from some paperclips. Compared to other phone holders, this approach demands a bit more effort during assembly, but I'm thoroughly satisfied with the outcome. The small holes for the hinges might require slight adjustments depending on the printer and settings used; however, ensure that the wire enters with difficulty. Adhesive use should be unnecessary. Cut the metal wire a few millimeters shorter than needed to prevent protruding metal parts when inserted. The final thickness is approximately three millimeters across the entire surface. This is a medium-sized version, tested successfully with phones up to seven inches in length. Filament used: ABS and PLA Infill percentage: 30% Resolution range: 0.15 - 0.2
