Phone Stand

Phone Stand

In my Extreme Redesign Contest entry, I opted for a revamped version of the typical phone stands found on Amazon and eBay. My design allows a phone to stand at an angle on a base, initially intended as a bed structure for comfortable video watching. However, the final design deviated from the planned outcome due to some issues. There's a horizontal pencil holder in the back as an added feature. Beginning with AutoCAD, I used the line and fillet functions to create a 2D base with curved edges. The extrusion tool helped me build a 3D model by stretching the 2D image vertically or horizontally, despite some limitations. Despite having to adjust my initial plan, I submitted the project to the Extreme Redesign Challenge and gained valuable insights from the experience.
