Phone Shower Caddy

Phone Shower Caddy

My wife is a huge music fan, and she loves blasting tunes while she showers, so I figured out how to create a custom phone holder for her device that wouldn't slip off the edge of the shower caddy and damage it. It took some trial and error to get the design just right for her iPhone 7 Plus with an Otterbox Symmetry case and pop-socket attached, but I'm hoping this holder will fit other phones as well, regardless of their size or model (interior dimensions: 89.5mm wide, 20mm deep, 171mm tall). The shower hook allows the phone holder to clip onto a curtain rod for added security, and I've also included attachments for frameless and framed glass showers, which can be mounted on the back of the caddy. An opening at the bottom ensures that sound waves can escape and bounce off the walls, giving her music a slight boost - it's not going to transform her phone into a giant stereo system, but it helps! Just remember to keep your phone out of harm's way, where water could damage it. This custom holder has been working like a charm for us, so feel free to give it a try and enjoy the music while you shower! (The photo with the black phone is mine - I have an iPhone 7 Plus with a RhinoShield case, and there's still plenty of room to spare.) Note: If you're using the Curtain Hook attachment and your phone has extra space behind it, simply turn the hook around so that it attaches from the front instead of the back, and it will help fill up some of that empty space.
