Phone Seat
thingiverse
This design is a modification of my previous attempt, which showed instability with larger phones. Drawing from my in-car holder, I've added side grips to address the frequent issue of accidentally knocking my phone off sideways. The sides are designed to extend outward together, ensuring they're aligned when you attach them using glue. Be cautious not to misalign them, as I did initially. Assembling this design is relatively straightforward; however, if you encounter any difficulties, feel free to reach out for assistance. During printing, I employed supports and a brim to mitigate issues. Unfortunately, my filament batch proved troublesome, causing the nozzle to clog frequently. To conserve the limited good filament available after four failed attempts, I divided the base into two components: a base and a stem. Due to slicer software limitations, it failed to attach a brim to the stem's bottom. As a result, I manually added one myself.
