This prop was created specifically for the game "The Red Stare". Its purpose is to record phone conversations. At the time period depicted in the game, which is set in the 1950s, technology like this did not yet exist. However, in order to fit with the gameplay scenario, we fabricated it. The design of this prop was inspired by a classic Seth Thomas Flipping Clock from the 1950s.
