Design goal was to craft a sturdy, adjustable phone/phablet stand with a robust design that could accommodate various viewing angles. The stand adjusts in approximately 5-degree increments from roughly 30 degrees off horizontal to 70 degrees. It was specifically designed to fit Galaxy Note series phones but should also work well with similar-sized devices like the iPhone 6s Plus. Dimensions: * Width: 2.75 inches * Height (at highest incline): 5.66 inches * Length: 5.66 inches * Short leg inside face length: .729 inches, featuring a 10-degree backward angle and grip teeth to securely hold phones/phablets with cases up to .72 inches thick. * Long leg inside face length: 5.159 inches; the Galaxy Note extends approximately .75 inches beyond the legs. * Body thickness: .375 inches Required Materials: * 4 nylon lock nuts (8-32) * 4 round head machine screws (8-32 x 3/4 inches) * 2 round head machine screws (8-32 x 3/8 inches) * 2 brass threaded heat inserts from McMaster Carr * 1 basic soldering iron for heating and sinking the heat inserts into the crossbar stabilizer piece Tips: * Print inside faces down on the print bed for optimal results. * Depending on your printer's capabilities, you may need to add support material for the stop nut recessed holes.
