Phone or GPS mount for Pontiac Fiero

This is an extension to the dash housing that can hold a phone or GPS without obstructing climate control controls. You can attach any device holder of your choice that uses universal ball mounts. I attached a cheap spring-loaded phone holder from the dollar store, but any type that fits those common balls will work just fine. You need to drill holes in the dash plastic on one side. I didn't want to do that at first, but it's the only way to go. I used self-tapping screws instead of drilling directly into the plastic. Added a fillet on top so it blends better with the dash; the sharp edge looked kinda strange before. **There are two ways you can print this extension:** I originally printed it with the ball as one piece and it worked fine for a while, but when I tried to turn my phone while the ball was tightened all the way, it broke off. So I made another version where the ball bolts into the mount. You will need a 4mm bolt that is at least 40mm in length, and a 4mm nut to make this version work properly.
