This is a simple iPhone mount specifically designed to stream video on Periscope, with the phone oriented in portrait mode. To accommodate this configuration, the device tilts naturally at a 45-degree angle, but the mount's design allows it to pivot freely up or down. The phone bracket was spaced to fit snugly around an iPhone 5 equipped with a rubber case, requiring only a small addition of foam tape between the case and bracket for a tight seal without putting excessive stress on the plastic when tightening the nuts. The mounting holes were drilled with precise alignment for a #8 bolt.
