Phone Mount for 1st Gen Chevy Volt

<p>I couldn't find a good place to mount my phone in my Volt, so I made this mount that attaches to the lid of the tray in the center of the dash. It slides onto the lid, and then latches into the tray where the lid would normally latch. I've included two different styles of phone holder. The X mount, and the cradle mount. They're both sized to fit my LG G8 phone with a case on, but should work with other similar sized phones. The X mount is supposed to be adjustable, but this is somewhat limited because it runs into the dash.&nbsp;<br><br>I printed this in PETG, and used M4 screws to put the X mount together. I used an M8 x 50mm screw to hold the post on the mount, and to strengthen it. I think a 5/16" screw would probably work too, but haven't tried it.&nbsp;<br><br>To print the X mount, print 1 each of the X mount base, and the left and right upper arms. Print 2 copies of the lower arm, and 4 of the buttons.</p><p>The cradle mount prints all as one piece.</p><p>I've also included a CD player mount for those who may not have a 1st gen volt but want to try the mount. It works well in my daughters 2006 Prius, but may not work in all CD players.</p>
