2017Feb22 I finally got to print the modified phone holster, and I'm thrilled with the new rounded edges. The belt clip has also been relocated, but unfortunately, I didn't double-check the revised shape file before printing it and sharing here. As a result, the top of the belt loop wasn't attached properly, while the bottom barely held on. On this new version, however, I've fixed the issue, and the holster now stays securely on my belt. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. 2017Feb13 After wearing this thing for a week, I realized that the corners were quite sharp, causing discomfort when sitting. To solve this problem, I rounded off the edges, albeit crudely, but haven't printed it yet. I'm optimistic that it will no longer poke me excessively. Since getting my new phone, I've been keeping it in my back pocket due to the cheap holsters' tendency to either not fit properly or wear out quickly. However, the problem with this approach is that I couldn't hear my phone when I received a call, which was frustrating since my ringtone is loud and raucous – "God Knows" from the anime series Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. This made it difficult for me to hear even when the radio was turned down. In short, I designed this quick and dirty holster for my phone, a Galaxy III with an Otter case that's not the large armored one. The holster fits the phone snugly, including the case.
