Phone Holder

Phone Holder

thingiverse

I designed a phone holder that is incredibly durable and holds your device at a perfect angle. It features a built-in cable slot where you can route the cord neatly, adding to its sleek design. The holes on either side are not just decorative - they also reduce the amount of plastic used in the printing process. I successfully printed my model using PLA on my Anet A8 3D printer and it works flawlessly. You'll notice that I added thin supports at .9mm thick to the bottom of the design. These supports allow you to print with a brim on the first layer, which keeps all four leg pieces together until they start to bond around 1/3 of the way through the printing process. Once they're firmly attached, simply cut off the excess support material and your phone holder is ready for use. As of August 18th, 2017: Several users have informed me that their cables don't fit snugly through the original slot, so I updated the model to provide a larger opening, accommodating USB cables with ease.
