Phone Holder for Mini Cooper Gen 3

I'm still searching for a phone mount designed specifically for my third-generation Mini Cooper dashboard. Since I couldn't find one that fits perfectly, I converted a commercial unit's picture into a printable version myself. This is a work in progress with ongoing tweaks to the hole locations and other details as I navigate through the installation and testing process. The latest files are now available except for a minor adjustment I made by nudging the mounting holes slightly closer together (about 1mm in both x and y directions) since the initial fit wasn't quite right. The phone mount worked well initially, but I encountered some tolerance issues that required filing to get it to slide smoothly into place. To address this issue, I recommend scaling down the insert piece a bit to improve the fit tolerance. As an added touch, I used a yellow hairband - my wife still doesn't know about it - which blends in well with the mount's current yellow color. The phone fits securely but isn't too firmly attached, making it easy to insert and remove as needed. While it doesn't offer the same level of stability as a steel mount would provide, I don't notice any excessive movement while driving. To address the previous design's front-to-back wobble issue, I added an arc to the front face of the main piece. This modification significantly improves the overall stability and makes it more comfortable to use while driving. To assemble the main piece to the middle piece, I used a random machine bolt (likely M6) held in place by a large washer that helps distribute the force evenly. The pivot is secured with another random machine bolt (probably M4).
