Phone Holder Adapter V2

This is the ball mount for car phone holders. This has been tested with Monster brand holders and works well. Installation: Mind a spot on your dash where you can reach the back well enough to screw in 2 M5 screws. Drill 2 holes for those M5 bolts approximately 20mm apart. Screw 2 socket head screws into the adapter until you just see the end of the screw poking out the bottom. One at a time, bolt down the two M5 screws using an M5 nut and washer applying thread lock on each. Now, unscrew the portion of the phone holder that holds it to ball joint and pull it off. Place the phone holder nut on FIRST, THEN press the phone holder onto the ball joint. Orient the holder in the desired position and tighten the phone holder nut.
