I designed an adapter to hold my old car mount in place without a phone mount, utilizing Fusion360 software. To get it working, I need two rubber bands for the mechanism to function properly. In the files, there are two parts required for the fastening process. The design was modified slightly to increase stiffness and add a notch so that the top mount won't press my phone's buttons.
