Phone Charging Stand and Schedule Tracker

I created a schedule tracker to keep track of one’s classes and any tests or HW due. A slip of paper listing one’s classes is inserted through the opening on the top of the schedule tracker and the classes can be viewed through the window. Sliding the person throughout the day also gives the student a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction as they complete each of their classes. The schedule tracker has a removable phone charging stand that can support your phone if you are video calling into a class or just need to charge your phone. It also has a slot in the front to keep pencils and spare sliders. While creating this model I ran into problems perfecting the dimensions of the model. To overcome this challenge, I measured various objects to determine suitable dimensions for the project and made sure all elements of my CAD model were to scale. If I were to redesign this model I would modify it to improve the printability. Since some parts of this model aren’t flush with the base, some warping may occur and this is an issue I hope to overcome in the future. 3D printing strengthens this design by allowing this design to be cost effective without sacrificing the durability of the material.
