Redesigning a smartphone cradle, I created an innovative solution for those who often forget to plug in their charger at night. My design features a small hole on the back, allowing users to thread their charger through it and into the holder underneath. This ensures that the phone can be effortlessly placed into the cradle, beginning charging immediately. The modern, clean look offers increased convenience while a stable base prevents falling over. Initially, I included side walls in my design; however, they made insertion difficult. My creation was developed at Bergen County Academies under Mr. DeFalco's guidance and is suitable for FDM printing with PLA plastics.
