Phone attachment for score stand
thingiverse
I've always had trouble with my phone getting in the way when I use it as a timer, or my tuner/metronome blocking my view when I'm playing guitar and trying to read my score. These designs make it possible to keep my score clean while still having my phone and metronome available. The first version was designed for strength. I thought it would be a problem holding the phone, so I made it extremely sturdy, printing without infill but with double walls and spacing, connected by holes to add extra stiffness. This design can definitely hold a solid lead phone. The second version is an improvement over the first one. It's not as beefy, which surprised me - the first design was much stronger than I expected. The angle of this design allows for better viewing of my phone. The third version aims to improve on the attachment point that had a sharp angle in the previous design. Unfortunately, I made an error and ended up with a similar angle, but a bit too high. This actually works well for my tuner/metronome because it leaves space for the clip when not in use. I'm most happy with the second version design. I hope these designs will be helpful to you.
