The purpose of my design is to provide students with a practical and handy desktop tool. The biggest issue I came up against is that my model needs to be printed in three separate parts then glued together in order to get the spirals right. If I had time to redesign, then I would try to add more spiral-themed compartments to my model. 3D printing is the easiest way to make this slightly more intricate piece possible to make, and I plan to make it for myself, too.
