A sci-fi convention is coming up in November, Windycon #43, with the theme "King of the Nerds." In my hubris and arrogance, I promised each member of the ConCom a unique badge proclaiming their fandoms. Most were familiar territory, but a few stood out as odd or unique. I decided to share a few of these symbols here. This second one is a composite of clip art that's been lingering on my computer for ages - I'm not sure if the Phoenix part comes from a video game, but it might.
