Phoenix v2 Silicone Overmolding + string tensioner
thingiverse
Male fingertips for phoenix_v2 ... female moulds are printed both same size, dollop of 2-part silicone in the female helps fill through-hole of male part with silicone too. Click male fingertip into female, should demould cleanly and trim with knife. Tiny amount of silicone used makes this way cheaper than 'tippies' even if dozens of replacement fingertips are printed. Looks better too. I have non-string-winder versions tucked away too, if anyone doesn't want string-tensioner. To use tensioner, attach string to part1, insert part2 in string winder hole, insert small screwdriver and tension to desired tension. Click it in and hold, remove screwdriver, and insert part2 firmly until flush (will probably need pliers). Care must be taken with external perimeter width, print externals first, use single thick external perimeter. Small size requires good clean well-dimensioned prints for all parts to snap together nicely. I have a spreadsheet of settings used if people have trouble printing these.
