Phoenix Hand Finger redesign
thingiverse
This redesigned finger is designed for use within the Phoenix Prosthetic Hand, drawing inspiration from the Knick's Prosthetic Finger v3.5.5 design. However, it has been modified to eliminate the need for an elastic cord, instead utilizing dental bands, and tailored to fit seamlessly within the Phoenix Hand framework. A key benefit of this revised design is the incorporation of an additional knuckle, allowing users to achieve a firmer grip compared to existing Phoenix Fingers. The Bumper and covers are fabricated using a flexible material, while the remaining components are constructed from rigid materials. Ninjaflex and PLA were utilized as the primary materials for completing the prototypes.
