Phineas Gage Skull- Lithopane
thingiverse
A lithopane of the famous skull of Phineas Gage comes into view without any backlighting, but as soon as you hold it up to a light source, the image suddenly appears. This detailed model was expertly created by Graham Holt at the Laboratories of Cognitive Neuroscience at Boston Children's Hospital using the 3DP Rocks Lithopane Generator. The original source image is used with permission from the Warren Anatomical Museum. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerGear Printer: MakerGear M2 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 100% Notes: A raft would definitely be helpful, but I opted for a 0.2mm helper disk instead this time around. Without some sort of base, the corners tend to peel up.
