<p>I am a member at Yakima Maker Space, and I am currently making a philosophers foosball table. I hand sculpt each philosopher in clay, then 3D scan (with a Next Engine HD), model in Rhino 3D, and custom print each character. Each philosopher takes about 40 hours to sculpt and a bit of time to print. In all I will have 24 characters, 11 Germans, and 11 Greeks, with 2 substitutions. Once printed you can drill out the body to fit your table rod size. 9/16" or 5/8" is most common.</p>
