Philips Sarista Bean Funnel Stirrer Axle
thingiverse
This is a replacement for the standard axle of the bean stirrer in a Sarista bean funnel, set to expire after about one and a half funnels of beans have been used. When you replace that one with this, the bean funnel can be refilled indefinitely. To replace the axle (assuming you've already created some kind of opening at the top for easy refilling), do the following: * Remove the bottom plate by inserting a flathead screwdriver between the rim of the funnel and the edge of the bottom plate. The plate is very flexible, but will come off with a bit of effort. * Insert a small philips-head screwdriver through the opening at the top and push down on the center of the original axle while supporting the underside on both sides of the rotating part in the middle. This too will require some effort. * Replace the old axle with the new one, then use needle nose pliers to push down on the stirrer from the top. Open up the pliers a bit and place the tips on both sides of the opening at the top of the stirrer. Push the new axle up and it will click into place automatically. * Reattach the bottom plate, ensuring that it has snapped back in place securely on both the inside and outside surfaces.
