This adapter connects the System One 60 Series Heated CPAP Tubing by Phillips Respironics - SYS1HT15 directly to the Amara View Quick-Release Tube. A design decision made by Philips apparently renders it impossible for the quick-release tube to connect seamlessly with their heated tubing. As a result, users are forced to use the friction-fit end of the heated tubing on the mask itself, which can cause difficulties when trying to disconnect the mask from the tube in low-light or sleepy situations. The adapter eliminates these issues by allowing the quick-release tube to function as intended. It's clear which end goes where because one end is significantly larger than the other.
