I didn't want to spend money on specialized pasta blanks because they're ridiculously overpriced when I assumed each one costs no more than a dollar to manufacture. So, I tracked down someone who made a blank and modified it myself to accommodate cookie blanks. I printed the design in PLA as a test run, and surprisingly, it worked flawlessly. Ultimately, though, you'll need to use a more durable material like ABS or PETG, or even nylon to withstand the intense pressure of the machine.
