Philips Hue Strip corner and T split
thingiverse
Connector pieces for Philips Hue Light strips; two connector pieces are included: a 90-degree corner piece and a T split piece. This requires that you cut your light strip and desolder the pieces, referring to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-5Mpn9eTd0. After cutting, remove 15 mm of the strip PCB from each inserting end. Once the Hue strip ends are inserted into this joining connector, solder wires between them (see pictures). Once completed, fill in the piece with a two-component epoxy to make a strong bond, ensuring the wires cannot move. The attached fully parameterized Fusion 360 file contains two components: - "corner": the 90-degree corner piece - "T": the T-joint (see pictures) Adjust the parameters "width" and "height" to specify the length of each leg (works for both "corner" and "T"). In the attached STL files, a width and height of 29 mm x 29 mm was used. This results in 15mm of strip needing to be slid in on all ends for a snug fit. However, any values larger than 29mm can be used, resulting in an asymmetric corner or T, which may be useful (as seen in the attached pictures).
