Philips Hue Motion Sensor Partial Cover and PowerSrip Mount
thingiverse
Thank you for every tip or donation, it really means great recognition for me and makes a huge difference in keeping things going! The Philips Hue motion sensor is an amazing device, but I wanted to exclude a portion of the area from detection. This is achieved through two parts: the HueSensorCoverBase, which simply clicks over the sensor, and a separately designed cover or finger (HueSensor10mm or HueSensorTrapezoid as examples) to eliminate areas from detection. The cover clicks over two small holes and fixes after successful testing with a drop of superglue. To create your own custom cover, just print one of the examples (which only takes 10 minutes) and then design yours using the following measurements: Distance between bolts: 12mm (0.47 inches), bolt diameter: 2.4mm (0.095 inches). The other piece (HueSensorStripBase) is a simple piece to mount the sensor with a PowerStrip instead of a Screw. Use a common M4 countersunk screw with 12mm length (0.47 inches) to drive directly into the plastic, as shown in the pictures. Enjoy!
