This design covers a standard UK light switch and holds two Philips Hue dimmer remote controls, keeping the original light switch accessible when the Hue remote is removed. The Hue remotes are secured in place with magnets positioned behind the switch cover. Previous experience with single Hue remote switch covers from cgcrute has been very positive. The need for a switch cover to hold two Hue remotes prompted a fresh start, using SketchUp to draw an angular outline and copying dimensions and key design features from cgcrute's single remote switch covers. The Round Corner extension from Fredo6 was used to round off the various edges and corners. The same magnet used by cgcrute for his switch covers was chosen: 50pcs N52 Super-Strong Disc Magnets 20mm x 3mm Rare Earth Neodymium Magnets, available at banggood.com. On September 13, 2017, the model was re-generated from a flat 2D design to ensure accurate geometries and size adjustments were made after discussion with Chris. Design notes in PDF form were added. First prints received on September 18, 2017, fit perfectly but were a bit snug around the light switch. The inner width was increased by 1mm to 87mm x 87mm for a better fit. Overall, this design has worked out very well. On September 9, 2018, the switch aperture was widened to 50.5mm to accommodate triple light switches comfortably. It fits nicely and works as expected.
